Becoming a member of Sustainable Witham doesn't involved membership fees, it doesn't involve joining anything, it doesn't require attendance at meetings and it doesn't mean anyone will be pressing you to stand for office ('Go on, you'd make a great treasurer and you'd love it!'). 

 

Membership really just means letting us know you'd be prepared to be involved - and the level of that involvement is entirely up to you.  You might like to be part of the river-clearing team, sell raffle tickets at the Christmas fair,  help with publicity or serve teas at the community cafes.  Maybe you'd be prepared to help prepare the hall for one of our events, or bake a cake, or help organise a swap shop.  You might have some brilliant ideas. You might even want to arrange your own event, with the help of the rest of us.  We're a new group, and we're flexible.  However you'd like to be involved, we'd love to have you.
